The city of Milton is getting closer to purchasing body worn cameras for its police department.

The council heard about quotes for body worn cameras during their Thursday, May 17 work session. The cameras were approved by the council, totaling $64,295, during the Fiscal Year 2024 budget process. However, according to information shared at the work session, the total cost is actually $15,368.73 more, for a total of $79,663.73, because the original quotes did not contain all of the necessary equipment.

“The Blue Angels,” a new documentary about the legendary U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team, had its world premiere Thursday, May 16 at the AMC Bayou 15 theater in Pensacola.
