Dr. Amr Hassan from Baptist Medical Group’s Hematology and Oncology department has studied several types of cancer during his career, but he says that breast cancer in particular has made significant medical advancements. Breast cancer survival rates have gone up over the past decade and new research provides hope for people diagnosed.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a victim of an attempted carjacking that occurred on November 04, 2024, at approximately 8:40 p.m. at Circle K located at 5661 Quintette Rd in Pace.

A Milton veteran was drafted into service for the Vietnam War. His goal now is to make sure that no veteran coming home is treated the way he and his fellow service members were.

Chumuckla Highway will experience intermittent lane closures Wednesday, Nov. 13, and Thursday, Nov. 14, for Thermoplastic road striping. Lane closures will be during the operating times of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for both days.
