Volunteer Santa Rosa Day is an opportunity to learn about the volunteer organizations that support Santa Rosa County. This year’s event will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at Benny Russell Park, 5417 W Spencer Field Road in Pace. Various organizations will showcase what their organizations do for the Santa Rosa community and be available for demonstrations. Food will be available, as well as activities for kids.

A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

There was a significant shake-up in Santa Rosa District Schools in June.

At the June 13 school board meeting, the district appointed seven people to new positions at schools throughout the district, including four principals at Holley Navarre Primary School, Avalon Middle School, East Milton Elementary School and Gulf Breeze Elementary School.
