Pace man killed in single-vehicle traffic crash

A Pace man was killed early Monday morning on the University of West Florida property.
The 21-year-old man was driving west on Campus Drive near the intersection of Campus Lane at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of his vehicle, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
DeSantis signs concealed weapons bill

The Republican-controlled Senate gave final approval to the measure (HB 543) on Thursday, about a week after the House passed it.
