Santa Rosa TDO opens funding cycle for local grants

The goal of the TDO’s local event marketing grant program and sponsorships is to increase out-of-market awareness of the county’s tourism brand “Navarre Beach, Florida’s Most Relaxing Place” as a tourist destination and to drive lodging room occupancy by funding the marketing and promotional efforts of the county’s tourism events.

Company vice president Chris Nallick and his wife, Angie, created Element Outdoors as a direct-to-consumer business in 2013. In 2019, the company joined with Xpedition Enterprises and moved to Decorah, Iowa.
ProHealth donates $21,000 to 10 local nonprofits

ProHealth of northwest Florida donated $21,000 to 10 local nonprofits during the month of December. Each ProHealth office was given $3,000 to donate to a nonprofit of the employees’ choosing. The money was split between multiple nonprofits or the total amount to one single nonprofit. There are seven ProHealth offices in Northwest Florida. Recipients include the Pensacola Habitat for Humanity, The Birthday Party, Favor House, Okaloosa County Commission on the Status of Women, Food Raising Friends, A Hope for SRC, SRC Kids House, Crestview Pregnancy Center, Path of Grace and The Good Samaritan Clinic.
