The precautionary boil water notice is for the following area(s): From 6531 Old Bagdad Hwy to 6613 Old Bagdad Hwy, including, All of Yellowhill Rd and Audis Road.
A main break has occurred due to a contractor hitting a water main located on Old Bagdad Highway.
Therefore, as a precaution, the Bagdad – Garcon Point Water System, Inc. advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
