Per Santa Rosa County, West Spencer Field will be closed between Winners Gait Circle and Adams Road on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13, for resurfacing of the area between the two speed bumps that were previously removed. Benny Russell park and a portion of North Spencer Field Road at the intersection of West Spencer Field Road will also be closed while the road is being resurfaced. Weather permitting, the roads will reopen by end of day on Thursday, Nov. 13.
Driveway access will be allowed for properties within the closed portion. Drivers north of the closure may use West Spencer Field Road to Berryhill Road to Chumuckla Highway to Adams Road as a detour. Those south of the detour may use the reverse. Drivers are asked to use caution and expect delays in the area.
