Opportunity Knocks: Milton alum gets call to play in NFL

On Christmas Day, the phone of Corliss Waitman started ringing. It wasn’t a family member or friend wishing him a Merry Christmas, but rather the Pittsburgh Steelers.

They needed a punter for their game in Kansas City that next day. So they turned to Waitman after learning their starter wouldn’t be available because of a personal situation.
