A fiery crash resulted in one death and several injuries on Interstate 10 Thursday afternoon on the Escambia Bay Bridge.
Four vehicles were involved, one of which became fully engulfed in flames during the crash. As a result of the collision, one driver sustained fatal injuries, according to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol. Two drivers and a passenger of one of the other vehicles were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The wreck, which occurred around 2:18 p.m., involved a 55-year-old male from Milton with a 15-year-old from Shreveport, Louisiana in the same vehicle. A 26-year-old from Dothan was also involved. It was unclear where the driver who was killed in the accident is from.
