Four people were involved in the crash, which occurred on State Road 97 in McDavid. The three-vehicle crash led to the entrapment of at least one individual within the vehicles. Of those involved, two people died, a 30-year-old Molino woman and a 66-year-old Molino woman. Neither were wearing their seatbelt, according to a report from Florida Highway Patrol.
In their report, FHP said the incident began when another driver traveling southbound failed to maintain his lane and collided with the other two vehicles, which were traveling northbound. The two Molino women, who were in the same vehicle, were pronounced deceased on scene.
