Sale of Property
Notice is hereby given that the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the purchase of property located in the Santa Rosa Industrial Park (SRIP). Approximately 8 (eight) acres of land located on Armstrong Road is up for bid. The use of said land will be limited to manufacturing/industry use with the employment of a minimum number of at least 10 new employees and have a capital investment of $600,000.
All bids must be in writing and delivered by hand, overnight courier service, or U.S. Mail to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Department, 6495 Caroline Street, Suite L, Milton, Florida 32570, and must be received by 10:00 a.m. on September 8, 2022 at which time will be publicly opened. E-mailed bid responses will be rejected. Only bids received by the aforestated time, date and location will be considered. All bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled, “ITB# 22-049 Sale of Property-8 Acres SRIP”. Please provide the original proposal, labeled “ORIGINAL”, and one (1) electronic file in OCR (readable) PDF format.
Specifications may be secured by download from the Santa Rosa County Website: www.santarosa.fl.gov/391/Procurement-Office "Bid Opportunities". Questions concerning this bid should be directed to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Office at bidinfo@santarosa.fl.gov prior to 12:00 p.m. on September 2, 2022.
Santa Rosa County will retain the right of first refusal in the event the property is sought to be sold. Santa Rosa County reserves the right to negotiate a higher sales price with the highest responsive bidder. Santa Rosa County reserves the right to award more than one bid if it determines such to be in the best interest of Santa Rosa County.
Each bidder will submit a minimum of $500.00 earnest money deposit which will be non-refundable should such bidder be awarded the purchase. The deposit will be credited against the purchase amount.
Santa Rosa County reserves the right to waive informalities in bids with or without cause, to reject all bids, or to accept the bid that it determines to be in the best interest of the County.
Each bidder making a purchase proposal agrees that if it is awarded the bid, it will enter into a purchase agreement described herein within thirty days of the bid event. The purchase agreement may be assigned by the successful bidder to an assignee approved by Santa Rosa County at the County’s sole discretion.
