Jay and Central are headed to the Sunshine State Athletic Association for football, opting to play in its postseason starting this fall.
However, the schools will remain under the Florida High School Athletic Association umbrella in the sport as far as rules and guidelines go.
Jay and Central will be a part of the SSAA in 2026, at least as far as postseason play is concerned.
