The 43-year-old Jay man was traveling northbound on SR 87 at 11:39 p.m. when he was struck by a sedan driven by a 35-year-old female from Brewton, Alabama.
The pedestrian was thrown from the bicycle, into the southbound lane, when the second sedan collided with him. The second sedan was driven by a 39-year-old female from Chickamauga, and a 12-year-old and 15-year-old were in the vehicle as well.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics with Lifeguard EMS. Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
