Initial reports from the scene indicate that the helicopter experienced a mishap on one of the field’s helicopter pads while landing. The Helicopter Training Squadron EIGHTEEN instructor pilot and student aviator were evaluated by EMS personnel and were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The incident is still being investigated at this time.
