As Walter Ford competed in various national events last summer, including with USA Baseball’s 18U National team, that feeling of potentially going pro much sooner than expected started to seem a little more real.
But he wasn’t thinking at the time about the possibility of reclassifying from junior to senior ahead of the 2022 high school baseball season.
