Charles Elliott was re-elected to the Santa Rosa County School Board Tuesday night.

Elliott defeated challenger Angie Straughn in a non-partisan race for district 4. He received 18,464 votes, or 57% percent of the vote, to Straughn’s 13,962 votes or 43% of the vote.

“I’m in a debt of gratitude to the people of Santa Rosa County trusting me for another term,” Elliott said. “… We got a lot accomplished in four years, but we’ve still got a lot to go.”
