District runner-up finish another step forward for Pace’s girls soccer team
Scoreless after one half of a District 1-6A girls soccer final on a foggy evening here Tuesday at Bennett C. Russell Stadium in Navarre, the window of belief remained open for Pace that it could pull off an upset of state-ranked Gulf Breeze.
Chances were few and far between against the No. 3 Dolphins, but that didn’t stop the Patriots from battling for any opportunity they could muster.
