District champion Jay Royals to host opening round of regional

Jay’s volleyball team earned a regional tournament berth by winning its first district title in 30 years last week.

Now the Royals are set to play at home in the opening round, hosting Cottondale in a Rural Region 1 semifinal on Saturday afternoon. Match time is 2 p.m.

The Jay Royals won a district title last week. Now they are set to play in the regional.
