A new barbecue restaurant has been OK’d for Santa Rosa County.
Jim N Nick’s has been approved for a location at 4625 Highway 90 in Pace, according to an approval letter from the Santa Rosa County Development Services Center. The restaurant will be 5,160 square feet.
The restaurant is planned for an area with a Buffalo Wild Wings and Chipotle, according to site plans.
Jim N’ Nicks only has one location in Florida currently open, with that restaurant being in Niceville. Another location in Pensacola is “coming soon” according to the company’s website. The company has 48 total locations, with the majority being in Georgia (18) and Alabama (17).
The company started in 1985, inside an old pizza restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama. The restaurant’s menu includes pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and more.
