AJ Bon-Jorno’s hat trick helped Pace’s boys soccer team top rival Milton 5-2 in a District 1-6A quarterfinal last Wednesday night at Pace.
Although Pace (14-7-2) started off fast and furious with three first-half goals, Milton battled the entire match.
In a season where wins have been hard to come by, the Milton boys soccer team earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over visiting Freeport on Tuesday.
Despite a down year record wise, the Panthers have not given up.
Pace boys soccer continued its winning ways as AJ Bon-Jorno scored his sixth hat trick of the season and Mitchel Hoffman added another score in a 4-0 victory over Pine Forest on Tuesday.
In just one season playing at Pace High School, Noah Hamlin made quite an impression.

Tuesday’s win was the sixth in a row for Pace (6-2). Head coach Nick Williamson is impressed with what the team has done lately.

Even balloons with the official colors of the Arkansas State University Red Wolves floated in the air. Many in attendance were clad in the same color clothing, expecting Mason Mathis to sign with the school.
Pace Patriot soccer players had heard before their match against Gulf Breeze on Nov. 6 that they were going to get beat by the powerhouse Dolphins.
But the Patriots refused to let it happen and played the Dolphins to a 2-2 tie.
It was the annual “Battle of the Bronze” matchup between the Pace Patriots and Milton Panthers on Halloween, and players from both teams has their eyes set on the helmet-laden plaque.
To top that off, both teams had big postseason goals in mind.
Coming off their first victory of the season, the Central Jaguars had momentum on their side.
But to win consecutive games, they’d have to find a way to spoil senior night and Homecoming for the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays.
