Prost! St. Rose of Lima invites area to Oktoberfest celebration

St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church will host its second annual Oktoberfest celebration between 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. It is inviting area residents to join church members for the more than 210-year-old Bavarian tradition featuring uniquely German food, beverages and music.
BoCC to hold final 2024 budget hearing tonight

The Santa Rosa County Commission will have its final Fiscal Year 2024 budget hearing at 6 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 19, in the Commission Meeting Room, 6495 Caroline St., Milton. The Board of County Commissioners is expected to officially approve a total overall budget of $251,355,646.
