There was pageantry pre-game with fireworks. Jay’s stands were full of Royals’ fans ready to erupt at kickoff.

A season of promise ended quickly Saturday as the Jay volleyball team was swept by Baker in a Rural regional semifinal

The Pace volleyball team swept Tate in their district tournament opener on Oct. 14, winning in three sets to move to the next round. Pace improves to 18-6 on the year and will face Gulf Breeze tomorrow night in the district semifinal.  Gulf Breeze comes into the match-up at 24-1, with their lone loss coming against Chiles on September 19th.

The Milton Panthers fought hard, but it was ultimately not enough as they fell to Gulf Breeze 26-17 on Friday night on the road.
