Jay’s girls basketball team didn’t start off 2026 in the most ideal way. The Royals lost by almost 20 to L.E.A.D. Academy in their first game of the new year.
But since that time, they’ve been a different team, rattling off seven consecutive wins, including over Paxton, Holmes County and Chipley on their way to rising to the top of Rural Region 1.
