The first such arrest was the arrest of Victoria Elsenpeter. Elsenpeter had a warrant out for her arrest for Grand Theft and is accused of embezzling $3,801.60 from the Sata Rosa County Clerk of Courts & Comptroller’s Office, where she worked as an accounting clerk. The crime, a Third-Degree Felony, could carry a sentence of up to five years in prison and fines up to $5,000.
The second arrest was of Shane Vanness for Robbery. According to the MPD, the offense is a First-Degree Felony, punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
MPD states that significant time and resources were devoted to both cases to hold both offenders accountable and secure justice for the victims and citizens of Milton.
