2026 – 2027 SCHOOL CHOICE PLAN
Pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, the Santa Rosa County School
Board will hold a public hearing to consider the revisions, additions and deletions
to the 2025-2026 School Choice Plan in preparation for the 2026 – 2027
school year’s School Choice Plan. The purpose of these changes is to update
the existing School Choice Plan in accordance with legislative and State
Board of Education Regulations. The public hearing is scheduled for April 2,
2026 at 5:30 PM in the Santa Rosa County School Board Room at 5086 Canal
Street, Milton, Florida.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE OF PROPOSED REZONING AND FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Milton, Florida, will hold public hearings to consider an application submitted by John Prins, Authorized Agent, requesting approval of a rezoning and amendment to the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) of the City of Milton Comprehensive Plan for the property described below.
The subject property is identified as Parcel No. 34-2N-28-0000-23001-0000 and is generally located southeast of the intersection of Stewart Street and Munson Highway, between the Circle K and the Blackwater Heritage Trail.
The applicant proposes to amend the zoning designation from R-1 Single-Family Residential and C-2 General Commercial to SSC-RC Stewart Street Corridor Residential Commercial District. The applicant also proposes to amend the Future Land Use Map designation from Single-Family Residential to Commercial.

The Milton Planning Board will review the proposed rezoning and provide a recommendation to the City Council at a public meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
