AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS
STATE HOUSING INITIATIVES PARTNERSHIP (SHIP) PROGRAM
SANTA ROSA COUNTY
Santa Rosa County announces the availability of SHIP Program funds for State Fiscal Year 2023/2024 in the total amount of $2,265,385.00. There is also $393,056.00 of Program Income received from FY 2022/2023. The purpose of the SHIP Program is to produce and preserve affordable housing. The activities provided through the SHIP Program and the amount of funds available in each activity are as follows:

First Time Home Buyer $ 845,000

Total SHIP Funding Allocation $ 2,658,441
NOTE: Residents residing within Santa Rosa County, including the city limits of Jay, Milton, and Gulf Breeze are eligible to apply for SHIP assistance. This notice was originally advertised in August of 2023 and has been revised and being readvertised to include funding of the Rental Development Strategy.
These activities were recommended for implementation by the Santa Rosa County SHIP Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and approved by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners to produce and preserve affordable housing within the County. The application period will begin September 5, 2023 and end June 30, 2026, unless funds are depleted before the end date. Those persons interested in applying for housing assistance should contact the Santa Rosa County Housing Department, at 850-981-7076.

Please be advised that on the 14th Day of May, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., CST,

Florida there will be proposed for enactment an Ordinance whose title is as follows:

ORDINANCE NO. 4-24

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MILTON, FLORIDA, REZONING ONE PROPERTY CONTAINING 0.82 ACRES OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF MILTON, FLORIDA, FURTHER DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 HEREIN, FROM R-1, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT, TO THE R-3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT; AUTHORIZING A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

This Ordinance is on file in the City Clerk's office for inspection. Any interested party may
appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance.
