Gary Graham is the new head coach of the Pensacola Ice Flyers. He’s no stranger to the city or the team, having coached them to their first SPHL championship in franchise history in 2013. He replaces Rod Aldoff.

Former NFL star Derrick Brooks is hosting a golf tournament at the Pensacola Country Club Aug. 14. The 11-time Pro Bowler who helped the Tampa Bay Bucs win a Super Bowl in 2003 is hosting the tournament in an effort to raise money for Derrick Brooks Charities of Northwest Florida.
