Pace High Athlete of the Week

Gianna Dettling has been a leader for the Pace girls golf team this season and has consistently played well for the Patriots.

The sophomore continued that trend in the District 1-3A golf tournament at Stonebrook in Pace on Oct. 26 as she helped lead the way for the Patriots, who earned a runner-up finish as a team in the tourney.

Dettling shot an 83, earning the top score for Pace while tying for the second-best score overall in the tournament.

Not only does Dettling play golf, but she was also on Pace’s state championship softball team as a freshman.
