One firm responds to bid for U.S. 90 widening alternatives study
City of Milton staff will ask the city council how to proceed after receiving just one response to a request for proposals to find alternatives to widening U.S. Highway 90 through historic downtown Milton. The matter is included as an agenda item for the council’s committee meeting, which meets at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, 6738 Dixon St.
The traffic bottleneck created by this two-lane bridge over the Blackwater River is a key challenge for FDOT plans to widen U.S. Highway 90.
