In the movie “Bull Durham,” catcher Crash Davis offers a philosophical take on the Durham Bulls baseball teams’ losing streak: “Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes, it rains.”

This weekend in Milton it rained, cutting short Volunteer Santa Rosa Day and adding new challenges to the Santa Rosa County Amateur Radio Emergency Service’s annual field day exercise at the SRC Emergency Management Center.
