Notice to Bidders
Boone Bayou Sediment Removal

Notice is hereby given that Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners is calling for and requesting sealed bids from a properly licensed contractor to provide services for the “Boone Bayou Sediment Removal” project. The project is located south of Oriole Beach Elementary School on Laurel Street. The project consists of the removal of one thousand (1000) cubic yards of sediment, the removal and replacement of one hundred (100) cubic yards of stone rip-rap, post hydrographic survey, turbidity, and erosion controls measures, transport of all removed materials, and the repair of adjacent properties due to construction. The Boone Bayou Sediment Removal project can be bid utilizing typical barge dredge methods or a long-reach excavator within adjacent property. The County is coordinating with a property owner to utilize the site for temporary access.

All bids must be in writing and delivered by hand, overnight courier service, or U.S. Mail to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Department, 6495 Caroline Street, Suite M, Milton, Florida 32570, and must be received by 10:15 A.M. on March 18, 2022, at which time will be publicly opened. Only bids received by the afore stated time and date will be considered. E-mailed proposal responses will be rejected. All bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled, “ITB 22-019 Boone Bayou Sediment Removal”. Please provide the original proposal, labeled “ORIGINAL”, and one (1) electronic file in OCR (readable) PDF format.

Questions concerning this request should be directed to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Office in writing at bidinfo@santarosa.fl.gov prior to 12:00 p.m. on March 10, 2022.
