Rivals Pace and Milton met at Milton High School for the 44th matchup between the schools on Friday night.

Pace and Jay were the last volleyball teams standing from the north end of Santa Rosa County before their seasons ended Oct. 27 in the regional tournament.

Jay and Central competed at the District 1-1A cross-country meet Monday in Port St. Joe.


Addie Cone had the top time for the Royals in the girls race, clocking in at 22:35.30 and placing 17th overall.

Pace’s standing in the FHSAA regional football rankings stays the same while Jay dropped two spots this week despite winning its eighth game of the year.

Milton’s golf teams competed at the District 1-3A tournament last Monday at Stonebrook in Pace.

Sometimes all it takes is one.


And for Pace’s girls golf team one stroke was the difference between moving on to the regional or going home.
