Gianna Dettling’s impressive freshman season continued on Monday at the District 1-3A tournament, and her score of 78 helped lead Pace to a regional tourney berth.

Pace’s boys golf team saw its streak of seven consecutive district championships end Monday afternoon.


But the Patriots are still going to the regional tournament, and in the end, that matters the most.

Milton’s golf teams competed at the District 1-3A tournament last Monday at Stonebrook in Pace.

The postseason for swimming got rolling last Wednesday with the District 1-3A meet at the University of West Florida Aquatic Center.

Jay’s volleyball players watched through their tear-filled eyes as Chipley celebrated the Rural Region 1 championship.


No words can provide comfort in that moment. Not when the Royals expected to be the team punching a ticket to the FHSAA state final four.

Pace, Milton, Crestview and Baker are all in the postseason if it started today based on the latest FHSAA regional football rankings. And Jay is within striking distance of a playoff spot.

It’s safe to say the rivalry between Pace and Milton is going to have some added levels of hype to it this Friday night.
