Char’son Floyd is playing at Pace this year for his senior season of high school football. And he already has his college commitment lined up as well.

Floyd committed to Mercer in June.

Save the dates aren’t just for big events. They also serve as reminders of which games to circle on a calendar for the high school football season, which kicks off this week.

Coming off a 10-2 campaign and back-to-back district championships, the Pace Patriots understand what it takes to be successful.

Construction is going on around the University of West Florida’s Darrell Gooden Stadium on a Thursday morning in late July and it ties right into what is being built on the field as the Argos prepare for year one in NCAA Division I football.

After assuming kicking duties for the Jay Royals over the past three seasons,  Jacob Lewis is continuing his football journey at the next level, heading to Lighthouse Christian College.

Milton’s football team put together a great season in 2025, and the returning players learned a lot from the experience.

Pace’s volleyball team is going to look a lot different than last year. Ten seniors have graduated and another key player moved out of state.

But the team is embracing the new era.

Every swimmer that enters the pool area on a hot and humid Saturday morning in late July has a smile on his or her face.

They are ready to hit the water for another practice, excited to be here. eager to learn and improve.

Another football season has arrived and there are two 1,000-yard rushers returning for their senior seasons.

Pace’s Makael Williams and Jay’s Jaymes Youngblood both went over the 1,000-yard mark and enter 2026 with high hopes of doing it for the third year in a row.
