Roundup: Royals stay unbeaten in volleyball
Jay’s volleyball team is on a roll early on this season. The Royals are unbeaten through five games after knocking off Northview in four sets Tuesday.
Jay won the match 25-9, 21-25, 25-20, 25-20 to keep its perfect record intact.
Patriots have strong performance at meet against Raiders, Jaguars
Pace finished second in the overall team standings at a tri-meet with Navarre and West Florida Tech last Tuesday afternoon at the Pullum YMCA.
The Patriot boys had three event winners, including Brandon Carney, who won the 200 Freestyle (2:14.07).
Pace holds off Milton in rivalry match

Milton’s Gabi Wright is one of the better golfers in the area and came through with medalist honors at a tri-match against Navarre and Pace Tuesday afternoon at Hidden Creek.
Wright checked in with a 39 to pace the Panthers.
Tyner leads way for Pace at Patriot Invitational
Eli Tyner picked up his speed as he charged towards the finish line, the rain beginning to fall a little harder as the sophomore took aim at putting a bow on a top 15 finish at the Patriot Invitational on Sept. 2.
The Pace sophomore ended up 15th overall, recording a time of 18:26.9, and felt good about his finish.
Jay Royals stay unbeaten in football
The Jay Royals recovered Freeport’s onside kick with less than two minutes to play and ran out the clock to seal the deal on a 20-14 win last Friday night.
At 2-0, Jay is off to its best start in more than a decade.
