Pace’s beach volleyball team has won three of its first six matches and head coach Cody Trimm feels good about how things have gone overall so far this season.

Central’s boys basketball team left it all on the floor against Baker Thursday night in a Rural District 1 semifinal.


And head coach Wes Mathews couldn’t be prouder of his team for the effort the Jaguars gave in a 55-52 overtime loss to the Gators.

Reigning 3A state champion Pace claimed the Olympic and traditional championships at the Navarre Invitational on Wednesday.

They had lost to top-ranked Valdosta State on the road, the University of West Florida Argos falling 26-21 despite a furious second-half rally after trailing 20-0 at the half.


Their 2019 playoff hopes weren’t dashed, but if the Argos were going to make an NCAA Division II national championship run, they’d have to do it without home field advantage.
