SUV flipped while trying to elude Santa Rosa Sheriff’s deputy, report says

A 40 year old man found himself in the hospital after allegedly attempting to flee and elude a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s deputy.

The incident began when the man’s vehicle entered the westbound lane of Nichols Lake Road from Nichols Creek Road. According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the man was trying to elude Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Deputy Chapman.

Florida Highway Patrol said a man’s vehicle overturned and rolled several times along Nichols Lake Road near East Milton. The driver was life flighted after being ejected from his vehicle.
