Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office stops use of Flock cameras after state revokes permits
Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson directed the Sheriff’s Office to stop using Flock cameras after the Florida Department of Transportation revoked permits allowing local law enforcement agencies to place the cameras along state roads.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is stopping its use of Flock automated license plate readers as state officials raise concerns about privacy and the use of data collected by the cameras.
