Santa Rosa Medical Center to host Emergency Preparedness Drill
This exercise will be staged on hospital grounds, behind the emergency department’s ambulance entrance. During this planned drill, all hospital services will continue to be available to the public.
All hospital departments, including Santa Rosa Medical Center’s freestanding emergency department in Pace, will be participating in the exercise.
“The drill will help the hospital and its county partners remain highly coordinated in their response to mass casualty incidents as well as other emergency medical events,” Santa Rosa Medical Center said in a statement. “Emergency preparedness continues to be a top priority for Santa Rosa Medical Center.”
The drill will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21.
