According to a University of Florida study, by 2040, Florida’s developed land is projected to increase by roughly 17.5% of the state’s total land area. But there are groups working together to preserve as much land as possible.

The sprawl map shows Florida in 2040 if the state continues to develop at the rate and density it is now.
