Pace Water issues Precautionary Boil Water Notice

| Staff Reporters

Pace Water System has issued a precautionary boil water notice to its customers.

The notice was issued due to a water main break at Hwy. 90 and Alba Street.

The precautionary boil water notice will be in affect until samples are collected and labratory results show that no bacteria is present for the following areas: Highway 90 between 4413-4187, southside only. Alba Street, Wellington Drive, Dana Street, Vicksburg Drive, Chadwick Street, Grant Street, and Forte Street.

Therefore, as a precaution, Pace Water System advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
