Pace Patriots excited hard work pays off with playoff opportunity

Shortly after 5 p.m. on a Thursday night in early November, Pace’s football team is wrapping up practice.

A year ago at this time, the Patriots’ season was over, their playoff dream crushed when the computer that crunches the numbers for the FHSAA regional rankings spit out a result that 8-2 wasn’t good enough for an at-large bid.
