Instructor pilot, student eject from T-6B near Foley

The Navy is investigating what caused an instructor pilot and student aviator to crash in a remote area near Foley, Alabama, the morning of Jan. 17. At approximately 10:50 a.m. Jan. 17, a Navy instructor pilot and a student aviator were flying a T-6B Texan II aircraft assigned to Training Air Wing 5 in the vicinity of Barin Naval Outlying Field near Foley.
