The accident occurred around 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 28.
According to the report, a semi-trailer was traveling east on S Lynn Rd and stopped at a stop sign at an intersection with Highway 87 while a pickup truck was traveling southbound.
The semi entered the intersection and stopped the cab inside the paved median, with the trailer sitting in oncoming traffic lanes.
The pickup truck driver, a 71-year-old man from Pace, attempted to swerve to the right and brake but was unable to stop in time, according to the report. The pickup truck collided with the left side portion of the semi-trailer.
Both vehicles came to rest near the area of the accident, the report stated.
