Eglin Fire, BETA create base’s first E-aircraft emergency procedures

Upon the imminent arrival of Eglin’s first electric aircraft, the 96th Test Wing fire department began creating emergency response procedures to ensure they were ready.
A BETA Technologies team member briefs 96th Test Wing firefighters about the safety procedures on the Alia, all electric aircraft Oct. 30 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The fire department worked with the BETA team to create the base’s first-ever emergency response procedures for an all-electric aircraft on Eglin.
