Friday night was nothing new for Pace, which survived nail-biter in overtime, prevailing 17-14 over Mary G Montgomery in a tightly contested season opener.
The Patriots won the game over one of the best teams in Alabama on the strength of a game-winning field goal by Caleb Nelson.

Pace finished their regular season last Friday night at home, defeating Lafayette 35-7.
The Patriots wrap up the regular season with an 8-2 record. It’s their best record in the regular season  since 2007 when they made it to the state semifinals.

Pace continued District 1-4S play last Friday night on the road, defeating the Tate Aggies 41-13. The Patriots move to 2-0 in the district and are 6-1 overall.

The Pace Patriots opened District 1-4S play last week with a 55-24 win over the Gulf Breeze Dolphins, breaking a six-year losing streak to the Dolphins to move to 4-1 for the season.

Revenge was achieved by the Pace Patriots last Friday Night as they shut out the Crestview 28-0 at home, ending a two-year losing streak to the Bulldogs and moving to 3-1.

The Pace Patriots defeated the West Florida Tech Jaguars 24-21 Friday night in Pensacola thanks to a game-winning field goal.

The Patriots took a tough loss last Friday night against the Lincoln Trojans, falling 21-7 at home and dropping to 1-1 on the season. The Patriot defense came out of the gate strong, stopping the Trojans from putting up points in the first quarter. The Trojan defense had the same energy and forced the Patriots to punt twice in the opening quarter.

With pre-game fireworks and energy in the stadium, the Pace Patriots, coming off a 7-4 season, kicked off their 2023 season last Friday against Choctaw and prevailed 41-17. After winning the toss and electing to defer, the Pace defense came out strong and blocked the Indians’ first try at a field goal.

After an abrupt end to last year’s season, with the Patriots losing by a point to Buchholz in the first round of playoffs, the Pace Patriots enter this year with their eyes on vengeance. Their story began Friday night when they hosted Pensacola Catholic in their Kickoff Classic.
