919th SOW remembers former Duke Field pioneer, AFRC commander

The 919th Special Operations Wing joins the Air Force Reserve Command community in mourning the passing of a Duke Field pioneer, and a leader whose impact on the Reserve family was both profound and lasting.  
Retired Lt. Gen. James Sherrard, speaks to the crowd at the wing headquarters building dedication ceremony at Duke Field, Fla., July 8. The building was dedicated to the 919th’s founding member, retired Brig. Gen. Donald Haugen, who created the 919th Tactical Airlift Group in 1971.
