A 27-year-old man from Pace was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Oct. 29 at the intersection of Chumuckla Highway and Smyer Drive.
According to the report from Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 7:04 p.m. when a SUV traveling westbound on Smyer Drive failed to yield the right of way and entered the intersection. The SUV collided into a motorcycle traveling northbound on Chumuckla Highway.
The 27-year-old driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the SUV, a 35-year-old female from Milton, suffered minor injuries.
