Area growth spurring on Marcus Pointe Baptist Church’s North Pace campus

From the opening of Wallace Lake K-8 to the construction of homes and a Piggly Wiggly grocery store, The Wallace Lake area of Santa Rosa County has seen an influx of development over the past few years.

With development comes people, and with people, comes a need for a church. That was the reasoning behind Marcus Pointe Baptist Church’s expansion into the area with their North Pace campus in 2020.

Pastor Derrick Nichols leads Marcus Pointe Baptist Church’s North Pace campus, which is currently worshipping out of Wallace Lake K-8 on Sundays. The church plans to build a sanctuary of their own just up the road from the school.
