Pace High Athlete of the Week

Char’son Floyd has made an immediate impact in his first season with the Pace Patriots.

The transfer from Pine Forest is a versatile athlete and has made plays on offense, defense and special teams, including a punt return for a touchdown. He also has a touchdown catch.

Floyd has come through with 38 tackles on the season, including 29 solo, and he has picked off a pass as well.

Committed to Mercer, Floyd has helped the Patriots win three of their first five games and emerge as a district championship contender once again.
